We visited for our honeymoon and the hotel was great. From check in and throughout our stay the staff were friendly and communicative. Whilst we were there numerous staff mentioned our honeymoon which we found a really thoughtful touch from the hotel. The room had a stunning view of the castle. Alastair and Jamie on concierge were great as were Susie, Kristie and Laura in the spa. Essentially the wonderful staff made this stay so special.

Outstanding views of Edinburgh castle at the Waldorf Astoria. Extremely friendly and professional staff. The hotel is very centrally located making it convenient, but be warned there is a bit of street noise. The hotel itself had many beautiful, upscale spaces as well as some smaller private feeling areas too. Restaurants and bars we were able to experience were great as well.

My Wife and I stayed here from Monday until Friday. We were originally booked into a different hotel but we fancied an upgrade and this hotel didn’t disappoint! All the staff were so welcoming and honestly couldn’t do more for you. The rooms were very spacious and immaculately clean. Make sure you choose a room with a castle view. The view is spectacular! We had breakfast every morning and there is a wide range to choose from. If you are planning a trip to Edinburgh please check out this hotel. It’s amazing and we can’t wait to go back.

Just returned from an amazing stay, had a problem in our first room and straight away upgraded to a beautiful suite. Big thanks to Christine and Mags for dealing with the issue so promptly and sorting everything and making our weekend even better than we could have hoped for! The hotel is beautiful and service was amazing in particular concierge and also Christopher at the bar who makes the best old fashioned cocktails I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to return one day and enjoy the Waldorf again.
