The Hotel looks like a Box, it would be great if it were one of the marvelous old brick buildings as you see as you walk around this unique old city! We liked very much the hotel, very good breakfast and pretty close to everything.

Booked two rooms here in March 2018. I was at first hesitant because of the Residence Inn brand, but was impressed by the most beautiful rooms. Very modern lines and very new. Reminds me of a luxury apartment building. The location can't be beat, as it's tucked away yet very close to Old Edinburgh. An excellent choice!

Stayed for 4 nights during early Oct’21. Positives - 1. Location - very well connected to the city. The property is located very close to the University of Edinburg. 2. Staff - very helpful throughout the stay. We were upgraded as well. 3. Room - good, cozy room. Big enough for a comfortable stay. Negatives - 1. Breakfast- Good English breakfast, but got a bit bored of the same menu over the 4 days. 2. The microwave and dishes in the room could have been cleaner. There was stink in the microwave as well. Overall, Loved the stay and would recommended 🙂

Nice, modern hotel with friendly staff. Good breakfast spread. Great location still close to the old city but outside the noise and action. Peaceful.

Great location, reasonably priced, good breakfast included in price. I agree with some other reviews here, parts are a little dated, TV old & limited with available channels, no door on the shower room etc..we're used to a superking bed so a double was tricky to get used to, albeit a bit on the bouncy side. We had a family room which was spacious & a bit stuffy at times. The fridge & dishwasher was a handy addition. Overall a comfy stay & I'd recommend to others.

Although this hotel is located at convenient place if you are visiting Edinburg but you are only paying for the location, service is rather bad. Rooms are nice and big but can get very hot. Breakfast is below average. Won't be staying here again.
