Haymarket Hotel edinburgh

What a wonderful place! Old school service that make you feel like your welcome and a valued guest! From opening the door as seen us approaching, to carrying cases to room and showing us in. Friendly , helpful staff. Breakfast was fantastic! Such a good selection! Will definitely stay again. And would recommend to anyone!

Really well kept, the staff were all great and always willing to help without any hesitation. Really great spot if your visiting for the sights of Edinburgh as it’s pretty centre to everything and only a 5 minute walk from haymarket train station, lovely rooms and peaceful area. Would 100% book again if I ever find myself in Edinburgh again.

The place is nice, the rooms have a decent space, good shower and nice location. The staff were nice and helpful. But the bed not so good. Really noisy, couldn't move at night without waking up my wife. But I recommend for the location. It's a place I would consider to stay next time I come around. If they give a room with a better bed. Haha.

Fantastic - this is why I chose to stay there again. Staff are very good, polite and professional. Hotel close to train/ tram and it is very clean. Well done and thank you. I will stay here again if necessary.

The room was on the 2nd floor and there is no lift. Also there was mould build up near the windows for both the bedroom and bathroom window. The staff were wonderful can't fault them for anything.

This place is an excellent experience to stay in. As soon as you wake up, freshly baked breakfast is ready for you to let you enjoy rest of your day. Staffs are friendly and constantly working hard to make that place feel as you are in home. Beautiful patio with the spacious room will make you feel your own moments! Room is very organized and full of amenities. Highly recommend this place to experience Edinburgh even better. Restaurants and train, bus storage are adjacent to hotel. Perfect place for staying in Edinburgh!

We had a great stay at Haymarket Hotel. It was a great base to have just outside the main city, but we loved the walk into Princes Street. Would definitely recommend.

Everything about our recent stay was excellent. The room was large, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was lovely. Altogether it was great value for money and I will certainly recommend it.

Very disappointed. Being in the basement, the room was quite dark and dingy. It wasn't clean either. There was a used corn-plaster lying on the floor, I assume from the previous guest. I did mention this to the receptionist when I asked for a few more towels and cups. The towels and cups replenished, however the corn-plaster has not been cleaned up and was still on the floor. We found the bathroom quite grubby too. The beds were comfortable though, however the pillows were hard. It's a long walk to the centre but there is plenty of public transport to take you to all over. Sadly its not a place I would recommend. Not a place I'll be visiting again

I've enjoyed my stay. A beautiful and quiet place. Near to the city center and airport. Amazing staff and tasty vegetarian breakfast. Thanks .
