Visited on Boxing Day. Beautiful place, dog friendly. Granted, our waiter got the drinks wrong and when we came to order it seems the child's meal was never written down, but it was very busy, getting busier as the day got on, and mistakes happen. It was a lovely environment, excellent service, and would definitely come again.

Today, 30th Dec our family of 8 celebrated my son’s birthday. CRISTIANO, our Italian waiter, YOU ROCK! Your approach to your customers and service was outstanding. Thank you. We will be back. To the Brazilian chef, thank you for the superb food!

The food we ordered was lovely, I had the meatballs and my girlfriend had the BBQ pulled pork pizza and they were both gorgeous! My only issue is that we were sat outside and it took a while for anyone to return with the card machine after we were given the bill and it was absolutely freezing. This didn't ruin the experience, not by any stretch, but did dampen the end a little to be sat in the cold for so long

Best service ever! Very good food,many choices, very good cocktails! There is an offer two days of the week 2 coctails for 10 pounds, which is very good value for money! Highly recommended!

Had both lunch and dinner, staff polite and attentive, nice setting, reasonably priced and food was lovely. Would have been 5 stars if not for a bit of a wait before meal arrived and between courses. Excellent gluten free menu with lots of choice for both lunch and dinner. Indoor and outdoor seating with patio heaters used outside. You can only book a table if your party is at least 8 people, so on a busy night you may have a little wait. They do have a small seated waiting area.

Arrived to be shown to a seat outside, and even though it was July it was a cool night. I’d had no prior notice when booking that we’d be seated outdoors like I did at Gino’s recently otherwise I’d have cancelled like I did at Gino’s. However after raising this we were reseated inside where it was much better. The food was very good as was the service and despite reservations at first that were dealt with well I was happy with the overall experience. Will definitely book again though will check where seated first.

Wow, first time visiting here, won't be our last! Fantastic ambience in this place, very modern and welcoming. Food exceptional and a huge choice. Staff there very friendly and accommodating. Next time we up in York will definitely be our 'where to eat place'. Highly recommend.

We were so lucky to get a table without booking at lunchtime, spur of the moment thing. The lunch menu was excellent, lots of choice & reasonable at £9. The mushroom risotto was delicious & an ample portion, as was the vegan burger my friend had. Beautifully decorated restaurant, nice staff & great food, well worth a visit.

We walked by earlier in the day and liked the look of it. Came back to see if we could have a drink and cake but it was fully booked until 9pm. The hostess was really lovely and said she would check if there was space at the bar for us! We had some really nice cocktails and sweet treats. Service was fab.

Wow! We went here for our anniversary and were not disappointed. The bar area was comfortable and pleasant. We also stayed for dinner. The food was outstanding and the protions were more than plentiful to the point we weren't able to eat everything in front of us! The staff were happy and welcoming throughout and didn't over pester you while you were eating. Outstanding place and would highly recommend it to anyone thinking of going.
