I visited the sky lounge at double tree this afternoon for afternoon tea. I was very very very disappointed and embarrassed.... the food was average at best. Most of the items on there were bland and tasteless and in all honesty poorly put together. The waiting staff were not very friendly at all. To top it off I went into the bathroom and locked the door as anyone normally would.. the cleaner then proceeded to try the door... it didn’t open as it was locked because I was in there ... she then proceeded to unlock the door from the outside and walk in. Luckily I had just finished my business as they say.... I was shocked and embarrassed this has never happened to me before. She then proceeded to follow us out of the toilet and laugh and joke about it to the lady on reception that greeted people as they exited the lift.... ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING BEHAVIOUR!!!! I will not be going back ever and I will be telling everyone what an absolute disgrace this place is.

The room was really clean and of a high standard. There was a fridge which was a nice addition. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. I didn't eat at this hotel but typically the Hilton restaurant is of a good standard. They have a sky lounge here with some great views across Leeds.

The hotel itself is not difficult to find but renovations to the train station meant I'd come out of the wrong exit and had to follow a convoluted path under bridges and along the dockside until I got to the concourse; they could do with some signposts further out showing the way. Check-in was pleasant and effective; I was warned due to the time that several places weren't open for dinner apart from the Lock next door, so thought I'd try that later (was a mistake - an awful place). The room itself had nice facilities with good views of the lock, warm and clean, and provided useful amenities (ironing board etc) for the next day. This was only a single stay away but it worked well, and if I'm sent up there again I'll happily pick this place to stay.

A bright modern hotel situated on the canal and right across from the train station. Check in was a breeze and the rooms are large, up to date and clean. Basic facilities such as tea and coffee in the room, with good storage for clothes. The rooms also have a small fridge and a safe, as would be expected. The restaurant is very good and there is a nice "Sky bar" looking out to canal side serving higher end cocktails and drinks.

Rooms are clean. Staff was nice. A few minutes walk from the main station. Breakfast quality is very average but I guess this is what one can expect from a chain like Hilton. Overall a pretty good value for money since I paid 123£ for a king room.

I booked this hotel for our Wedding Anniversary and we wasn't disappointed. From the warm welcome to the attentiveness and friendliness of all staff, it was a lovely night away. We booked the great escape package which included sharing platter and cocktails, a 3 course evening meal with house wine and a very varied (lots of choice) for breakfast the next morning. It was worth every penny. The rooms were clean and well laid out, and our room (floor 7) overlooked the river which was lovely to see. The Sky lounge (floor 13) had amazing views over Leeds especially in the evening. It is located directly next to Leeds train station and is local to all what Leeds has to offer. Would I recommend - yes. Will I be returning - definitely

Great place to celebrate a special birthday or just to relax and enjoy the Granary Wharf. Staff very welcoming and friendly in all areas of the hotel. Sky Lounge is a must if stopping here, views across Leeds City at night are amazing, cocktails are a must too! Rooms are very comfortable and clean, if you can ask for a room with a view over the canal 😊.

Great location at Granary Wharf alongside the Leeds & Liverpool Canal and River Aire. Lovely bars and restaurants with both interior and alfresco dining areas around the Granary Wharf square as well as the Hotel’s own restaurant, The Lock, and bar, Sky Lounge, with it’s stunning south-facing views over and beyond the Canal. The Hotel is ideally located, being just a short walk from Leeds Railway Station and the City Centre. Very friendly and attentive staff both at Reception and The Lock restaurant. Excellent breakfasts! The en-suite bedroom was clean, tidy, spacious and well-equipped. Very happy to recommend the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Leeds City Centre
