Good, quiet location. Rooms ok. Dinner and breakfast poor, especially for what they charge. A pump vacuum flask for water for your tea? One day the bacon was rock hard, the next it was soggy - in between would be good. Come on Holiday Inn, customers expect better than that from you! Food in the pub up the road is far better!

My school had prom there and all I could say is it wasn't very organized. We all collectively stood outside for 45 minutes as the got the welcome drinks ready ( a concentrated squash with some bruised berries). And for the rest drinks over priced and flat, a "homemade" lemonade was just some flat sparkling water with a bit of lemon squeezed in it. Horrible for £3.50 for pint. Margarine instead of butter was used. Chicken thighs on the bone were undercooked with a little blood almost everybody left it, so the staff had to be persuaded by the principal to let us have the desserts.

The rooms are good but the service and food leave a lot to be desired. I would not recommend it to anyone. They are carrying out building work at the moment to improve the environment but it's the services that is needing attention. I asked for a Stella. It was cloudier than scrumpy cider! After 3 more attempts I ended up with bottled Peroni! The meals are average with above average price. A bernaise sauce should taste of and have tarragon, theirs, doesn't!

Tbh. Poor. Not enough staff. Food was average at best. Lots of renovations going on but it looks to me that there is no rush to complete them and they are being done on the cheap! Had a good time based on the company I was keeping!

They have a fitness suite on the 1st floor and they don't understand when some one runs on the treadmill at 919pm the thuds travel throughout the rooms. This was reported to reception who offered a room swap ???? Duh close the gym!! The rooms are dated and smell terrible. The beds are two singles pushed together and the restaurant staff need further training. One waitress asked me if I wanted my starter, main meal and cheese board all at the same time????? Horrible experience for the lovely area I chose to stay. I wont be back and I advise you all to find somewhere else.

Stayed here on a one night stopover in Bradford. There was a wedding on which meant no restaurant for dinner. Maybe should have been advised of this when booking. However, apart from this, the staff here are excellent. Really helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is very nice. Rooms were clean and breakfast was lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

We visited for our annual dinner dance and it served its purpose. Our room was very nice except for a drainy smell but was spotlessly clean with a nice large comfy bed. The bar was a bit pricey, I thought £3 for a small bottle of coke was a lot and for a large hotel the service was slow and the staff didn't have a clue as to what they were doing. Also, the bar did not open until 5.30 which seems strange for a large chain like Holiday Inns. The breakfast left a bit to be desired- I don't know what the bacon was supposed to be, cold plates, an archaic toaster which was totally useless for the volume of guests. I enjoyed my dinner although we did have to chase them up as they missed our table out when it was time for coffee. It was OK for something like our dinner dance but not a place to go by choice. Sadly, I think most of their problems was due to a lack of staff.

The star rating is no reflection on the food from the restaurant, I have to say that the food from the bollywood brasserie was second to none, one of the best plated of food I've had the pleasure to eat. However do not whatever you do arrange to get married here, my partner and I did just that to our dismay. We had to cancel due to covid19 originally. We were offered another date only, no refund so we accepted then finally cancelled due to total breakdown in communication and lack of professionalism. They have dragged us through the courts of which they have been judged against 4 times, they still are refusing to give us our money back. Surely £7000 to a multi billion pound company is a drop in the ocean, the fight continues....
