The staff were very friendly and the food was excellent too. No disabled rooms on lower floors but they was a quick lift to all floors, the room was absolutely lovely big wide doors and bars to hold on to in the bathroom. Very lovely sleep had by all in room.

Lovely room and friendly staff but I booked this hotel for my birthday specifically for the spa and steam room. The steam wasn't working ( hasn't been for a week) but no mention of it until I saw a sign in there saying it wasn't working. Then the following morning the sauna wasn't working either. Really not good.

Stayed in Leeds many times, but this was our first time in the Crowne Plaza. We were using it as a stop over as we had an early start the next morning. On arrival at the room all we could hear the partying in the adjacent rooms. Luckily the receptionist was very helpful (despite the hotel being fully booked for a wedding) and moved us to another floor where it was a lot quieter. Breakfast was great. Hotel could do with a bit of a refresh in terms of decor. The Spa / pool area looked particularly tired, and the sauna was broken, but overall a decent hotel.

The hotel staff swap in a cold, distant attitude very quickly after the initial contact. On the plus side, the hotel has it's own gym. On the bad side, the gym is very small and not very well equipped, even after "it got refurbished". Again, plus side, there's a pool, steam and hot room which are pretty decent. I wish the pool would have a wider area with 1meter depth.

I paid for a room with a shower but got a bath and reception wasn’t very accommodating to letting us have one also our fridge didn’t work and countless times we asked for someone to fix it with the promise they would but all we got offered was Ice it was really disappointing because we bought things specifically for the fridge that we then had to throw out. Also for breakfast they didn’t have any other meat alternatives because we don’t eat pork which I thought was weird In this day and age with so many Vegetarians or so you would think they would of had alternative like a veggie sausage or even if you don’t eat pork a chicken sausage. After all said and done there was a young black lady in the bar she works at night I saw her twice she was lovely and very accommodating and very helpful unfortunately I didn’t get her name but her customer service skills was 10/10 Me and partner was happy in that sense… But overall if I was to come back to Leeds I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again reception are not very helpful plus when we first got there at around 17:00pm although it wasn’t busy we wasn’t told where anything was not even the times for breakfast neither the pool area nothing considering we was staying there for 3 days we had to figure that out once we got in our room. The decor is nice and the exterior is nice but overall we definitely would not stay here again.

This hotel is the best rated in this area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you for sure will love it I'm sure! Crowne Plaza is a fantastic place to be. I recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to go to leeds. Their staff are also very courteous.

We enjoyed our stay after a long gap. Few minutes walk into the city centre. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Only issue is I'm a light sleeper and I could hear the traffic through the night. Very pleasant and helpful staff. We also enjoyed our food in the restaurant and service in the club lounge. We shall return despite my sleep issue. Car park on site.
