What a lovely clean hotel.there were 10 of us in the group. The staff were super friendly and helpful ordering taxis supplying ice after an accident. Nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. Thank you so much Holiday Inn Express

Just checked out. The family rooms are fab, a lot of space, comfortable beds, nice staff with a nice breakfast. The toilets are clean. It was a great hotel, will definitely be coming back, 1.5 miles away from Elland Road so convenient for Leeds fans like myself. Easy to get to as well.

Great hotel to say in. We were here for 2 nights while visiting family and friends so wanted to stay local to city centre. The rooms were great, beds were comfortable. The staff were fantastic especially as I had both kids under the age of 5 and they couldn't help enough. Breakfast was very good as I asked for Vegan sausages and the kitchen staff accommodated, I’ve been to a few IHG hotels and they were reluctant to make them or bring them out, I do think they should add Hash Browns and Fried Eggs to the menu. I will definitely stay again with my family!

Big twin rooms plenty of space to move around. Tea, coffee provided. Large bathroom with walk in shower. Clean and tidy, no unusual smells about. 24hr reception with vending machines for snacks and drinks. All inclusive breakfast covers all tastes, you can even take this to your room if required. Convenience store 2min walk, 2 casinos 5min Leeds Centre 15mins. Well lit up at night, clean area around hotel. My only moan is the guests are charged for parking.

4/ 5

If you’re arriving from the train station it’s about twenty minutes walk, or from the airport a thirty minute ride on the city bus. A sizeable car park also means that it should be a convenient location for most. Reception staff are always friendly and welcoming with the check in process never taking long. It’s the same staff who serve the bar though, so if you do time it badly during a busy period then there can be a wait, both for drinks or arrival. The restaurant and bar area is a great size though, with tables for individuals and families, as well as a sofa area for groups. A couple of TVs in the centre add some atmosphere although there isn’t any background music in the evenings. A couple of lifts serve the accommodation floors quickly. Rooms are large with plenty of space and storage. Air conditioning works well and although nothing special, the views are decent enough depending on the side of the building you’re in. Standard hot drink facilities are available but no bottled water. TVs are a good size and picture quality acceptable. I’ve always had a comfortable enough stay in the room and other than it not being possible to push the beds in a twin room together, little to complain about. Bathrooms have always been clean despite feeling a little dated. There’s the standard amenities you’d expect, along with hair dryer (and ironing facilities) in the main bedroom area. No bath but the showers are a good enough size with the water hot and decent power. I’ve stayed here a few times now and have always left happy enough, and if I didn’t need to be based directly in the city centre would certainly stay here again.

Absolutely amazed by the quality of the room and the food on offer for breakfast. I felt like royalty as I've never had a room so big before and the breakfast was just scrumptious and definitely filled the empty stomach ready for the day ahead. Would I recommend?? Yes definitely!!

The staff are outstanding especially David, Ellie, Jasmine and Beth; real down to earth people that want nothing but the best for their customers. Would recommend as the best hotel I’ve stayed in England never mind just the north. The rooms are modest but more than enough, the beds are extremely comfy and the bathrooms are more than what’s expected. Top stay 5 stars easily. Thankyou all, Love from Salford x
