Great Motown Evening. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Food was excellent. Evening meal and breakfast. Rooms clean and comfortable. New bathrooms. Only problem was cable on hair dryer was too short to dry your hair unless you put your head next to the drawer.

Went for Afternoon tea without being to the hotel before and was pleasantly surprised by the great service especially by Jamie ? And the team Afternoon tea was lovely while I belive a couple of things could be baked on site instead of bought in it was a lovely setting in the dinning room. Only thing to let down the property is no baby changing in a 4 start property ? but again Jamie sorted out a private place to change our son well done and be back soon.

Dull and drab, stuffing falling out of the bottom of the armchairs. The staff do their best in a rather grim setting. Light Bites in the bistro also uninspiring. I was assured the chicken liver pate was home made which I just don't believe, it was like a cheap supermarket slab. No excuse, as delicious chicken liver pate is very cheap and easy to make. The toast, claiming to be 'sourdough', was more like the thick crust from a cheap sliced loaf of white bread. My friend ordered fish goujons and chips, she said the goujons were very nice but the chips didn't arrive until she'd eaten her fish. Not really excusable when there was no one else eating there! Call in Gordon Ramsay if you want to survive. Sad because the building is lovely and very well placed right opposite the bus and train station, but redolent of the general disastrous dereliction of Bradford city centre. Very sad because I love Bradford.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were large and well decorated, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a buffet with a decent choice, and there was plenty of tea in the rooms. Lots of channels on the tv, and a powerful hot shower. There’s beautiful original features throughout the hotel. For a 3 star so central I think it’s a great deal.

Lovely Victorian railway hotel in nice condition. Warm and welcoming atmosphere. Nice lunchtime meal, basic but adequate and reasonably priced. A good reflection of Bradford as it used to be.

Absolutely fabulous night. The meal was delicious and The Rod Steward Tribute was amazing, and had everyone on their feet dancing. Afterward dancing into Sunday with the fantastic disco. We certainly enjoyed another night at The Great Victoria.

The presentation of the hotel was brilliant with real character the rooms were a decent size and the beds were comfortable. We pre booked 3.5 weeks earlier and requested a double joining room and a separate double next to one of the rooms. This was double checked and confirmed on arrival. When we went to out rooms, the double room was was not next door but down the corridor? When my friend went to speak to reception, the reply was 'that's all we have'. When my friend explained that it was confirmed at time of booking. The reply was 'only thing we can do is cancel your booking'. True or false? It was a very rude reply. The rooms are extremely hot, with no air con, we had 3 rooms and all rooms were very hot and this is in beginning of October,! Summer months would be unbearable. Wouldn't recommend or use this hotel again.
