The Imperial Hotel

The grounds of the hotel were very spacious but the hotel from the outside looks a bit dated and is showing its age. The room that we stayed in was very clean with a very good view of the sea front. The food was a let down as our pasta meal was very dry and not enjoyable. However the bar / lounge area was very nice. Good hotel but could maybe do with a bit of a revamp.

Stayed 2 nights staff really friendly especially Anna in the bar. Location couldn't be better. Room was very clean and good size. Shower excellent. Would recommend.

Just excellent, even during Covid measures. Room large, airy, spotless, with superb view. Shower (power) simply blew us away! Staff were the best asset of all - pleasant, friendly and engaging. Would definitely return here.

Lovely hotel, right by the beach in Exmouth. Staff is very friendly, namely Kasey was extremely helpful. Our room views were amazing, i highly recommend it!

Great to see it re-open, rooms have been revamped and look good. The small things need some work, eg toilet rolls in bathroom, box of tissues, glasses for a drink of water, coffee capsules for the Bosch Tassimo and so on. The breakfast was good in quality but woeful in presentation, long way to go.

Visited with my wife over a weekend in December. Great position between tge sea front and town, both a 5 min walk away. Friendly, efficient staff. Comfortable public rooms & bedroom, the latter a tad cold mind you! Bed was lush & a good sleep was had. Recommended.

Hotel room and food good standard but the hotel exterior is showing signs of wear. Parking is extra £6 a day.If you're celebrating a special occasion don't expect any acknowledgement of it . although celebrating a 70th birthday and saying that to reception and serving staff no congratulations or any gesture was forthcoming. NOT a way to get guests returning.!!

Very well decorated, clean, very nice & warm rooms. Food excellent, staff friendly, we were well looked after. Will definitely come here again. One drawback. No twins with shower cubical, sea facing.

Had a teething problem as room we booked should have had Balcony. All sorted quickly. Staff so friendly and helpful. Beautiful views. Will come back again. Very good food. Had a great stay. It may be only 3 stars but the staff and views made it a 5 star. Going back next year.
