TLH Carlton Hotel

Stayed for 2 nights. Chose hotel as weather forecast was dreadful & there were things to do for 3 year old. The indoor pools are excellent, and the soft play kept her entertained. Staff friendly & helpful, all managing the Covid restrictions well. There seemed to be slightly fewer staff than were needed, undoubtedly due to the pandemic & it being half term, so they were run off their feet. Ate in Aztec bistro, was nice enough & decent value. Breakfasts were good, lots of things to choose off menu & seemingly no limit on how much you ordered. Beds in Carlton Hotel not very comfortable, although the room was spacious and clean. Plenty of parking. Good location. Overall very satisfied.

Room dated and smelly. Smell likes smoking room. Bed cover hardly fit properly. Stayed here in summer. Super hot room. Hotel only provides a lousy fan that hardly works to cool down anything. If you staying here during hot weather, bring your own fan! If not there will be sleepless nights.

It's a nice hotel for a short break. All clean and tidy.

The hotel was a lot better than I had expected, the staff were very good and the facilities are also very good. The room decoration and bathroom were a little bit old but as we had a family room there was plenty of space.

Was originally booked in at the dewrent we asked to be moved due to the smelly room and the fact that our neighbour was threatening to smash his gfs face in. It was very stressful running around for 2 and a half hours 7 months pregnant up and downstairs inspecting the rooms and also the fact we never got that time back for our holiday. The reason for my 5 stars are the staff mainly Dave for going above and beyond to swap our room the hotel nothing was to much for him hes a credit to your hotel. very dated in the rooms the rest of the hotel is brilliant food and facilities. But as I said the reason for my 5 stars are every single staff member was helpful kind and deserve credit where is due. I would stay here again hopefully will be a better start to the stay next time.

Having just spent a weekend here, I found this hotel to be clean, comfortable and relaxing. My room had a sea view too! The staff genuinely can’t do enough for you and all seem happy to work there. The food is delicious and service is excellent and at a very reasonable price. I can wholly recommend the Carlton Hotel and Aztec Spa as an ideal venue for all ages!

Lovely staff very helpful. Great food. Our room was comfortable, beds could be upgraded bit noisy. Knocked off 1 star because we were on 1st floor and the creaking floorboards above it was like elephants on the march!! Still enjoyed our stay.

Everything about our stay was brilliant. Four hotels on one resort, great location..our room even had a sea view. The cleanliness was spot on. Entertainment was great, there was something going on every evening. The breakfast was cooked well, nice and hot and plentiful. Full English or continental was on offer. The staff deserve all the praise they can get. ALL staff were amazing, helpful and friendly going above and beyond. Big shout out to Georgia and a member of staff trained in first aid when one evening I needed assistance. Thankyou to you all, keep up the good work. I look forward to returning 😀

brilliant afternoon, food great, and entertaining was, just what we needed to make afternoon go lovely and relaxing, go there any time

Good food restaurant staff all pleasant dated decor but clean and comfortable understandable didn't have rooms cleaned every day to protect staff how ever clean linen and towels could have been left outside room and loo rolls had embarrassment of having to ask for thenm at reception offered one for family of four! Entertainment staff Matt let kids down he told a five year old the Toby character was knackered! Kids craft session was just a picture to colour beginning or end of season should not matter to quality of entertainment as we paid a premium price for h holiday season.
