I stayed here as I was working near by. I paid £60 on a booking site as they were slightly cheaper than going direct this time. The person who showed me to my room was a member of the bar staff and he was great and a good laugh. The room was nice and modern and very clean. Suitable size space and big clean bathroom with a lovely shower which is rare for a place like this! I went for a meal in the evening and had a lovely waitress and two course meal for £23 could have easily spent £35 to £40 on the quality of food I was given! In the morning I had a free breakfast as it was included in the price which was also good quality! Their Corona virus safety was amazing with clear lines where to stand. Where masks should be worn and hand wash at every door! Fantastic place for the price and would stay again if I am in that area.

Great pub. Friendly atmosphere and busy for Sunday lunch. We only stopped for a drink after a marvellous walk around the viaduc and old quarry. We want to try lunch next time.

Nice friendly staff, but the worse food I've had in many years. The only edible part was the deep fried onion rings, and they were pre-prepared! Won't be going back.

Just popped in for food and it was lovely! Great atmosphere, very clean, dessert menu very hard to read due to the colours used but that may be a good thing! Sharing platter was very nice! Staff were lovely and friendly, quick turn around and very bubbly! Will be returning
