Decent hotel in a nice area, very clean, comfortable rooms. We arrived in a large working group and were dealt with very quickly be a very friendly receptionist. Just a shame the bar next door adjoining the hotel doesn't stay open a little bit later for residents, luckily, there's a 24hr petrol station with a large co-op supermarket five minutes walk away!

I gave it 5 stars as all the staff we had contact with were so professional and polite and friendly. Room was warm but not over hot. Bed was comfy. Pillows not so. Near a park and ride to York. Worked well.

Absolutely wonderful! I have food intolerances and the staff here went out of their way to help me out when needed. Also a particular staff member on reception called Cavan was a real lifesaver one evening when we discovered we'd come all the way to York and forgotten a piece of important paperwork! Absolutely would stay again, we travel a LOT for work and this is one of the better hotels we've stayed in of the "motel" variety that we usually choose. Good breakfast too, though I wish they'd offer a slightly cheaper option if you don't want the hot food. Seems a little unfair to charge the same

We chose this Premier Inn because it was close to our destination. We just wanted something cheap and cheerful. Firstly, it's not that cheap and it's definitely not cheerful. The place is rather depressing, including the rooms. The staff are helpful and friendly, so that's a plus. It was also great to have lots of available hot water. Could have done with more hooks in the bathroom for clothes and towels. It was also very quiet. It just had a really depressing ambience, which spoilt things for me. It has an adjoining Beefeater, which is pretty poor but convenient after a very long journey.

It's OK. Good parking. Room was clean enough but TV had no connection (no TV guide etc.) And the restaurant next door is terrible for breakfast. I would stay again but would not have the breakfast

Nice clean room and much cheaper than staying in centre of York. There is a park n ride a 15 min walk away which costs £3.30 for a return adult trip to get into city centre. Beefeater next door, a 24hr petrol station with large shop across road, and a really nice Chinese restaurant and takeaway (quite expensive at £13 for a chilli beef n fried rice takeaway but very tasty so would go again) . Staff were friendly and very helpful, hotel was spotless and room was nice and warm, would stay again.
