We enjoyed our stay very much. It was clean, comfortable & friendly. Location was pretty good with a short walk into the centre & perfect for the railway station. Service in the bar & restaurant was excellent. Breakfast extremely good. We ate one evening in the restaurant & had the cod & salmon dishes both of which we would have happily ordered again. Atmosphere was lovely. I have to say the young lad serving in the bar in the evening was a gem, with a great sense of humour, made our stay even more enjoyable! All the staff were very pleasant indeed. Wouldn't think twice about staying there again if we go back to York.

Nice clean Premier inn in town of York. Inn is not far from train station at one side and Racecourse at other side. Normal PI room, nice, clean, warm and plenty room. There are 3 floors with lift. Next door adjoined to PI is called The Long Boat is really nice for your food, with good deals. The PI is located nicely with Cinema next door, Barbers, Cafe's, Subway, Sainsbury, KFC within a few walking steps.

Very nice, clean, smart, ideal location to local amenities, only let down was most rooms are only accessible by going outside of the main reception, and breakfast was the same, like a converted barn type complex. Fine if nice weather not so if raining or snowing etc. Parking expensive 12 pound for 24 hours, and spaces very limited, 1st come 1st served. Pleasant staff.

I just wanted to say how accommodating and helpful Jackie was when I arrived on Friday night and then realised my husband had mistakenly only booked one night for one person. She went far above the call of duty to help us find somewhere else to stay on one the busiest weekends of the year. Many thanks!

Great stay only 5 minutes walk from the station and 10 minutes walk from the centre. Great staff, thanks to the team really. Room was perfect and would definitely recommend a reasonable stay here at a reasonable price. One of the better Premier Inns I've stayed at. Shows you can have an Older hotel and still have it feeling up to date, clean and looked after. Asset to the chain.

Superb service from start to finish. Amazingly the receptionist was able to sort our misbehaving air con remotely. We felt sorry for friends at The Grand whose rooms weren't ready until 830pm and kept being over charged! Awesome work Premier Inn 🌟
