Perfect for leisurely, boozy lunch. Nice surroundings and excellent service. We had 4 dishes between us from set lunch menu and all were fantastic. Particularly good calamari and very creamy prawn linguine.

My mother and I visited here last night in Manchester, we both really enjoyed our food everything we ordered was great and our waitress was really lovely and helpful. However, I made a reservation and was placed on the table to the entrance of the main seating area closest to the bar. There was a waiter who kept walking by as he was serving the section opposite shouting really loudly, knocking my chair occasionally as he went by and also clearing phlegm from his throat which wasn't very nice to listen to when you're eating.

A great place for a drink and good food. Good prices for a city centre restaurant. The staff are really friendly and helpful and always willing to help. It's the only place I go now.

Good place to meet for lunch, on Albert Square very central. Proper Italian food and efficient service. Buzzing with the noise of waiters being waiters. Good quality food with a lot of Italian chutzpah! Not cheap, but good value. Separate sweet, pizza and meat counters. Enjoyable.

Absolutely superb. Breakfast the best in town - their scrambled eggs and smoked salmon is unbeatable! Friendly staff and a wonderful, opulent dining room makes eating out a pleasure..

Very nice place, that came well recommended by friends. Food was very good also, with a very decent coverage of Italian-based cuisine (from Pizza to Pasta & Steaks 👍🏿). For me one of the best recommendations an established Restaurant can have is...do the locals really support it and when we went...it certainly was very well filled & that was even in middle of week 👏🏿😎.

Sunday afternoon so quite busy but a good atmosphere. Good service from attentive staff. My wife had a seafood risotto which she said was one of the best she'd had, I had spaghetti carbonara which was just average and a little on the cool side, people on the next table had rather nice looking pizzas, so I would eat here again as we enjoyed the occasion but would choose something else.

From the moment we arrived for lunch - the service and welcome was amazing. My wife had the swordfish and I had the duck ragu. Both were gorgeous. We had the most freshly made garlic bread with cheese to start! Well done everyone down there.

Food was pretty good, service was okay, a little on the slow side but it was as busy when we went. Kids menu was great value. Main menu was expensive, but quality of the food was good. The interior decor felt a bit dated.

I will not scribe an overly negative review on this restaurant but will convey my upset on eating here today in comparison to eating there three years ago. This restaurant now feels like a fast food chain in comparison to three years ago when the experience/ambiance felt like a decent restaurant. My main gripe is with the waiter…unprofessional with no customer service skills. The waiter was rude, abrupt and had no communication skills. I feel that this bearded…. stop it… chap behaved the way he did as the bill arrived with an added 10% service charge so to hell with the tip. We begrudgingly payed the service charge. Ordered the veal which was dry as a bone. My partner ordered a medium steak in which was served rare. Waiter non attentive so we didn’t address this. Not going back this side of the millennium. The price was premium but the service and food did not reflect this. Not happy.
