Dog friendly. Class joint in the Northern Quarter of town. Always pretty busy so might be worth booking in advance. Japanese style food looks awesome and will need to return to sample soon. Good selection of drinks, been here twice for the last drink of the night, highly recommended for a drink before heading home.

The fantastic decor, ambience and friendly staff made the dinning experience extremely satisfifing. We visited Sunday evening and experienced the YUM CHA menu. The pork dumplings were to die for, along with all sushi offerings. The only things we didn't enjoy were some of their vegetarian offerings and the sauce drizzled on their crispy squid. I would highly recommend this menu as it was a fantastic and enjoyable experience. We will definitely being visiting again, to sample their other menus. Thank you for the fab night.

Brunch is always incredible here. Lovely staff and very dog friendly. It is very popular so book ahead and you will not be disappointed. Be warned that although all dishes are extremely tasty some portions are larger than others so it's worth asking your server whilst ordering to ensure you don't go hungry afterwards.

Had the most amazing food and drinks. On our visit to Manchester we had been told about Cottonopolis so thought we would give it a try. We were so glad that we did. Great helpful staff they explained and recommended what people normally order from the menu. The drinks arrived quickly and food ordered and arrived soon after and they also explained that the food comes out once ready. The food was very tasty and well presented. We loved the atmosphere and decorations. We will definitely visit again when down in Manchester. Highly recommend

I love the bar, the selection of drinks is brilliant, the decor and the staff are all wonderful. But every time I come here it's so cold and it really impacts my enjoyment and how long I stay. I was wearing my hat, scarf and gloves inside the bar and was still dreaming of a space heater. I met another customer in the toilets who was trying to warm up by running their hands under the warm tap only to discover that too was freezing cold! Appreciate it's a listed building with single glazing so can be difficult to heat, but I think more could be done to make it warm.

We dine in here a lot and the food is always delicious. If you're looking to try Cotton for the first time then take advantage of their January deal, 7 course tasting menu. It's really good value for money and the food was excellent as always. The staff are lovely and it's dog friendly.

Stars are purely for the food, of which the chilli squid is very good and the portion is enormous! Drinks were good too. Our server was fairly good but there was about 25 members of staff in on a not very busy evening and it still took 20 minutes to get our drinks, all the staff avoided eye contact for anything else and acted like they were doing us a favour by something as simple as bringing the card machine over. Also it was freezing inside and me and my friend had coats on the entire time for this reason. More attentive staff and a warmer environment and would be 5 stars

We had an amazing evening here and tasted the special 7 course menu they were running in January for £25!! What a deal. It was really busy for a Monday night and the food is definitely the reason behind that! The crispy squid was my favourite dish the honey sauce was something out of this world. The pork gyoza was also probably the best I’ve ever had. We inhaled the food so quickly but unfortunately we were kept waiting on one of our courses for quite a bit of time. I believe we may have been forgotten about. However this didn’t spoil the evening and the food was worth the wait when it arrived. Would love to come back and the young guy that served us was fab!
