Positives: great location, Lovely staff, provided banners and balloons in our room requested for my partner’s birthday, as well as two free drinks - really appreciated! Standard room was spacious, shower pressure was good, and decent smart tv provided service information. Nice view from the room. Entertainment/DJ on the weekends in bar, little cheesy but you can request songs. Great view of adventure island from bar, could watch for ages! Negatives: bathroom could of been cleaner- hairs in shower, dead bug and some kind of wrapper by the sink. The washing dispensers available were broken and overflowed. Toilet took a couple of flushes. The bed wasn’t a king size, it was two beds put together. Under bed needed hoovering. Take outs weren’t available from bar to take to room when bar closed. I could stay here again, but not for £288 for two nights.

Cardboard cups in the room and no glasses.....the loo seat was loose/insecure.....room wasn't cleaned even after we told Reception. They said it was next to be done and still wasn't.....lock on balcony door was hanging off...massive stain in the carpet. Very poor maintenance. Staff friendly and location was great....they'd have to make big improvements for me to consider staying here again

This hotel is in a great location and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. A good example of their efficiency is when we arrived and checked in, we were told that certain parts of the linen for the room hadn’t arrived. I won’t explain the particular reason, but we were kept up to date almost hourly and in my opinion that was excellent The sea view room we had was excellent and literally front facing!!! not like some were you can only see the sea if you have a giraffes neck lol Breakfast was nice and yet again, the staff were great

5/ 5

This hotel, set in an imposing position overlooking the pier and seafront, has very comfortable, large rooms, a good bar with excellent views and delicious food. Where it really excels however is in its young, very friendly staff, who greet you with a lovely smile and are always ready to help. They are the true reason for the five star rating and a credit to their employers.

Stay was good. Room was comfortable. What I didn't like was after paying £100 a night and we stayed for 3 nights , we still need to pay for the bottle of water. Why? There is coffee making stuffs in the room, without water how can we make? This is not how it should be. I have been to different hotels such as Country Inn, Ramada they all give free water bottle. On the other hand there was no tooth brush and toothpaste in the bathroom. When I asked them they said I have to go and collect. Then where is the top quality service? You can't get an exception due to covid. If you are welcoming guests you should continue giving the same service you might be giving in the past. If not then there is no point is spending £100 a night and you yourself have to serve yourself. Better stay at some other cheap places or hotels. Breakfast was good and fresh but same menu everyday. Cleanliness and hygiene is good. House keeping is good.
