Muthu Westcliff Hotel – Southend-on-Sea

I’ve booked a room at this hotel because it advertised 24 hour room service as I was going there on my honeymoon but when we got there the telephone didn’t work and there was no room service very disappointed and the staff were very on helpful just didn’t wanna know also the extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work so everything steamed up plus the bed was too small very tiny the TV kept losing its signal so we couldn’t watch TV and the hairdryer didn’t work and we couldn’t see out of the window because it was all steamed up as the window was blown I wouldn’t go back to this hotel again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody I only give it one star I wouldn’t give it any if it was possible to do so check it all out if you want to go there but I wouldn’t steer clear

Lovely experience, booked Superior Double room and got upgraded to Executive Suit upon arrival. Clean rooms and nice Hot Breakfast every morning. Overall pleasant experience and will come again for next stay. Recommended if you are looking for a nice quite experience with superb Sea View. Thanks Mr Arbaz for looking after us.

Great Family Weekend away in Southend-on-Sea.. Albeit the hotel is a bit tired it's reflected in the price.. Most staff friendly n polite good all you could eat buffet breakfast.. Would stay again..

Excellent customer service, had a little mix up with the room I booked, however Bob on front of house was super helpful and very professional. He was very good and patient and solved our mix up with ease and pleasure. Fantastic welcome, the room is just what we wanted and with an amazing view. Nice size and with all the little extras I wanted for my boyfriends birthday.

Had a very nice time at the Muthu Westcliffe Hotel. Had a great view of the estuary from our room. Liked the food and the staff we're really nice. No doubt we'll visit again
