Novotel York Centre york

Absolutely amazing food. Would recommend the pizza and pasta. Jenny the waitress was so friendly and really helpful. Will be back tomorrow to try other choices off their menu. Chef really did fantastic. I love Italian food and this was deffo top 5 xxx

Stayed here twice now. Both times - more than happy. Staff excellent. Rooms have what you need. Breakfast is very good. Ample parking. Easy walk to York city centre, The Barbican etc.

Lovely clean hotel in a nice quiet location. Good walk down the river to the town centre. Nice little pool and a great bar area . Beware the hidden car park charges though.

This was a dream stay. Had the most amazing time with my family, the staff were so accommodating and friendly from the reception to the restaurant. We ate in the restaurant twice and it was delicious. Great location right on the river a short walk from all the attractions. Thank you Novotel!

Not what we expected for a mid range hotel. Signs of damp around the window. A few cobwebs that were mentioned to the cleaner but we're still there when we got back. No means to heat up pastries at breakfast but other than that breakfast was good. Bed was comfy and room was relatively clean. We never had time to try out the pool facilities.

Modern hotel. Nice size comfy room. Good buffet style breakfast. Pleasant bar area. Good location easy walk into city centre. On site open car parking. Staff friendly and efficient. Recommend this hotel.

Great location near the river. Friendly staff. Lovely hotel. Good atmosphere. Very clean. Lovely chilled out reception area we're you can get a drink. But once again could not turn the heating on at night.

2 night stay with the wife. Perfect location great staff food is nice (not cheap) but very nice! Breakfast was nice so all in all we would definitely return!

Central to york town centre. The rooms clean and tidy I would stop here again. Breakfast was lovely a good little weekend get away.

I visited the restaurant with a group of fiends during May bank holiday. It was the only place where we could book a table. Food in the restaurant was pretty bad. We ordered fish and chips, pizza and 2 steaks. Pizza and steaks were awful. We ordered medium rare but arrived almost medium well - very dry. After we complained a waitress was arguing it was medium rare because there was a bit of blood on the plate. Second steak they brought was blue and not even very warm. Steak had no taste and was very chewy so I think it was defrosted. This place is pretty expensive but doesn’t offer any standards. Staff working there has no customer service skills. If I was living in York I would never come back to this place.
