David was very welcoming! He was brilliant and very informative. David gave us a great welcome as we arrived, with plenty of information on our surroundings and what to look for, visit and do. The property is in a great location, quiet, comfy beds, spacious bathroom. All in all, a great property! Will definitely be booking again when visiting Edinburgh next.

Nice reception and very nice rooms, especially the bathroom! Breakfast is served in the restaurant next door. The rooms are located on the third floor without elevator. No problem leaving luggage before departure. Will return!

The accommodation was fine; good sized room, great shower and Sky TV. There are downsides though. Parking your car is a 10 minute walk. Breakfast is served at a bar down below and toast nor cereal are on the menu. But for me the biggest problem is to be found in accessing your room. It is 74 steps from the street to the fourth floor, and no lift. In two days I calculated that I had climbed and descended about 500 steps and I am 73. Not for the faint hearted.

Stayed here for our last vacation in winter of 2020 (the "before times"). The owners were super friendly and welcoming of two weary travelers. The room we stayed in was so cozy and warm and the hotel itself is in a great, centrally located area. Would absolutely recommend to some checking out Edinburgh.
