No 1 Canal Street – manchester

Incredibly enjoyable, the server was just lovely and incredibly nice and friendly. Food is nice, medium-big portions but the price was a bit expensive for drinks, which I understand for a restaurant like this but the bill raked up to £60+ for about 6 drinks and two meals. Which I am unsure is normal for a place like this, so this is just a warning for people. But other than that it was really good! Sat in the outside area, which had a lovely atmosphere to be honest, and the seating was comfortable.

Service here has always been good, friendly attentive staff. Good quality food at a reasonable price. Always a nice atmosphere and pleasant surroundings.

Great food and the cocktails where very good

Really friendly and accommodating staff, reasonably priced drinks, the food we ordered was really good. Sensible portion sizes, nicely cooked and tasted great. Enjoyed our evening there, the first time we visited as an eatery having been there years back when it was a bar with functional food, how its changed. Great experience all round.

First time visit and loved it. The food was beautifully hand prepared and freshly cooked. Lovely, welcoming and friendly staff. Relaxed but stylish environment. Super dog friendly too, what more could you ask for! It was a really enjoyable evening and I am looking forward to returning.

Being in the business myself. This is equal to any establishment with elevated dining and beverage. And what's more, the atmosphere and location is second to none in Manchester.

We had a lovely lunch my mum and i. Mum had fish and chips it was massive and delicious. I had steak frits which arrived cold but was soon rectified. All washed down with a lovely bottle of fizz. Staff very attentive would definitely return

Great restaurant with a good vibe. We had an issue with one of our meals and the response was so impressive - a replacement meal and and the meal taken off the bill without any fuss. Would highly recommend.
