We have just spent 3 nights at his hotel over Christmas. The staff on reception were very welcoming and helpful, taking our case up to the room. Our room was fairly new with a comfy bed and all we needed for our short stay. Enjoyed a nice meal in the pub attached on Christmas eve. There were mince pies and bucks fizz on reception on Christmas morning. It was a most enjoyable stay. Will be staying again soon.

Perfectly clean, comfortable, great shower, pleasant staff, pub next door serving breakfast. Awkward parking round the side and back seemed limited. New wings have cheaper construction and creaky first floor single rooms - in our ground floor room on our first night we could hear people moving around for hours till 2am. Thankfully those people didn't stay for our second night. But for a new build that creaking is poor and will only get worse. Another resident was complaining and was told that the good nights sleep guarantee no longer applied (it does according to their Web site).

We were welcomed with a mince pie and a glass of bucks fizz at reception which was most welcome after a 4 hour drive. Our room, number 133, was immaculate, very clean modern tv, superb shower. There was even a christmas card from all the staff. How thoughtful. This is our 5th visit and we look forward to returning next year.

Stayed for 5 nights with the family. Excellent service. Needed to check in early after overnight flight and Paul on the front desk arranged it with no trouble for all three rooms booked. Highly recommend.

A nice location and a clean hotel. However though it was a new build due to renovation it still had many issues in the room like leaking shower and dodgy plumbing. Those of you buying the inclusive breakfast package DONT because its served next door in the pub AND if you just walk in you can buy the breakfast deal for £8.99 and all kids eat FREE whereas premier inn will charge you around £10+ per person. Overall not bad!

We had family room, which was of a comfortable size for four of us. The hotel itself was set in a quiet location, with no traffic noise and we had a peaceful night's stay. Next door you can get a really good breakfast. Will definitely book again the next time we visit Manchester.

Superb customer service. Every member of staff pleasant and welcoming. Extra milk and tea provided, taxis ordered. Lovely comfortable rooms, huge car park and great breakfast with table service the following morning. Well Done to Ryan and all the staff for contributing to four of us having a very pleasant night away.
