Only stayed one night but the team there were very helpful and polite. We arrived as a last minute thing fairly late in the night and the front desk team were able to quickly find us a room and get the parking sorted. The bed was really quite comfortable, although the pillows were a little too squishy for my personal taste. All in all, a great place to stop for the night if you need a place to rest your head at short notice.

Stayed two nights loved the new decorating very clean and tidy. Staff very friendly. Very helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Would very recommend this hotel

An extremely warm and friendly welcome when I checked in. The room was very clean as well. The bar staff were also very friendly and attentive. I've yet to eat in the restaurant but if the rest is anything to go by then I'm sure it will be great.

Good service with nice rooms. Really quiet for the location. Ate here in the in house restaurant in the evening, the food was okay - quite expensive for what it was. Also had breakfast, quite pricey but food was of a good standard so worth the extra. Only downside is location - great for business when you need to head up the a34 but wouldn't recommend for anything social!

£24 for a greasy omelette & a floppy, fatty pizza was far from inspiring bar food. A takeaway would have given better value & product quality. Won’t be eating here again. (& have back ache now from the bed too)

We called here for a meeting in the bar, restaurant area to find it was under refurbishment , however the staff were very accommodating and helpful, and offered us a meeting room and coffee. The manager showed me the new meeting and bar area soon to be complete so I have no hesitation about calling back. Special thanks to Rachel who is a staff member who was so helpful, thank you

First of all, we are grateful for being accommodated literally last minute by the Holiday inn after an awful experience at another hotel. We had an excellent stay for 2 nights at the Holiday Inn! The executive rooms were comfortable and had great facilities, the hotel was very clean too. Breakfast was great too and the staff went above and beyond for any queries we had. Would definitely recommend it and would go again. Thank you

On arrival the reception staff were friendly, welcoming and informative. As I was running the Oxford Half Marathon I requested a late check out which was extended an hour. The room was very clean and well stocked with toiletries and towels. The restaurant service was good and the although limited the vegan options were tasty. John booked a cab to take me from the hotel to the race village. The fitness suite was a bit small but well equipped with a rowing machine, free weights, treadmills, a cross trainers, lat pull down machine and area for stretching. The morning after the race I was caught in traffic on the way back to the hotel. I thought I was going to arrive late so I called the hotel. John kindly extended checkout time. This gave me the opportunity to shower and change before heading home. Special thank you to John and Katelyn who helped make the stay at the hotel and great one.

Stay here often for work and it is always a relaxing/great experience. Good night sleep. Staff very professional and friendly. I’d like to say thank you to Georgi for the quick check in. He had a big smile and was friendly and professional with outstanding attitude. That’s what you really need after a long journey. I’d like also to say thank you to Jacqui for her big smile, outstanding attitude and always going the extra mile to make sure breakfast service is delivered efficiently and at highest standards. In few occasions I forgot to book breakfast the day before but that wasn’t a problem for Jacqui, always found a space for me. Well now when she sees me she automatically books me in for breakfast for the next day as she’ll know I forget to book :) thanks everyone by the way and keep up the good work :)

our stay was too disappointing . they only offered twin room where i put standard double room in the request. also put request for putting the rooms closer. but ours and kids room were put in two different floors and mentioned in check in they have only that availability. and we used only one room and adjusted in the same room.all the time our key did not work when go out and had to come back all the way back to reception again . the lady at customer service will do something and then again sent us back all time. the key were still not working. everytime when we went out and come it had this issue.waste of money as i spent around 225 pound for this bad experience.. i did not have this bad experience from holiday inn before. .customer service one lady at reception is not good. ..she did not bother to come and see when we told keys are not working. the other guy and lady next time in the reception helped much.and gave a spare key for the other room. breakfast was good and fresh. enjoyed the breakfast here.
