Exhibition Hotel york

We had an absolutely amazing roast dinner at the pub. It had the full Monty and the food was excellent! The pub itself is nice and cosy and although we had to wait a while for our food it was worth the wait! And reasonably priced.

Loved it . One of those traditional pubs , warm and welcoming. And a great Sunday lunch.

20 years ago we found this pub/hotel in york.......the food was superb.... Found again now ...20 years later and the food is still superb...at affordable prices and the staff are really friendly. ..I make it a point to visit the exhibition any time I'm in york .... .they are only burgers but as a chef they are the best I've ever had...well presented and taste divine

This York pub is like going back in time with its decor and bar Pleasent staff and clientele many real ales on Handpumps and also the beers are kept in good condition by owner

I celebrated my birthday with my wife and friends at this hotel and were made welcome from the start. Our room although not the largest we have stayed in was none the less very comfortable, you have to appreciate that the building is over 300 years old, not a modern concrete one. Everything that you need for your stay ie clean towels etc is provided in a very clean bedroom The breakfast was possibly the best that my wife and I have had in an hotel, and the beer garden has to be the best in York We will definitely be back

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Quiet but it is Thursday. Will be alot more lively at the weekend

Welcoming, cosy pub with a laid back atmosphere. The pint of Timothy Taylor that I had to drink, was excellent 👍

Friendly and comfortable hotel. Central York, convenient for the Minster and shops.Good parking and perfect for a short break.

We visited York for the weekend ... we planned too visit a few bars our 1st bar was here and that is where we stayed !!! Fabulous team working behind the bar chatty helpful and inviting .. beautiful coal fire and excellent salted caramel martinis ..
