Pretty, old-fashioned train station. The cast-iron roof is split in two arched sections, and the platforms are curved, making for a very nice view. Not a particularly large or otherwise remarkable station, but bright and friendly.
Oh my my, what a granda place for da trains, my a wife, she play a the piano so smooth, it make everybody smell! they should sell the a pizza rolls with fry chicken in here though, my shop will happy to deliver for this, just down the road.
The only problem I have with Brighton Chippy is when choosing the Plaice and chips option. They obviously have times when they sell too few portions of Plaice. It is often not as fresh as Cod etc. The chef did warn me of this but I thought it can't be that bad as the Cod is so good-they should bin the fish if it is not really fresh. Pete.
It's a very diverse city.Probably one of the least britush one in uk(if you think.of Britishness as having mainly conservative and traditional traits).Lots of great quirky shops, amasing art.The beach has pebbles though:)
Full of officers stopping you, giving fines for anyone without the right ticket. Staff there arent nice at all, always bothering people. Sometimes they close off platform 1 and 2 making you miss your train!
Really nice city. Good atmosphere I spent the day here visiting the old city and the beaches, the sea and the pier. Fantastic fun vibe and young. Plenty of places to eat fast food and good tourist attractions. I could have stayed many days here. I was very impressed I only regret not taking more pictures but I've posted what I did take. enjoy and I recommend visiting Brighton.
I went to the travel centre today to buy some train tickets for a trip to Devon, and I would just like to say how helpful the assistant was who served me her name was Fiona by the way please mention this to her .
The station is an interesting structure w/ amazing roof construction. The platforms are wide. The arrival & departure boards are prominently displayed. There are cafés, restaurants, & shops nearby.
One of the people working in the ticket office told me to stop talking when I was simply telling my girlfriend not to get a return as we didnt know what time we would be leaving. Very rude.
