Clean quiet station, does get a bit chilly when the wind gets up as there isn't much in the way of shelter. Otherwise is not too bad, and serves as a great commuting point if you need to go further into Brighton and Hove.

Given you can't actually buy tickets in the "ticket office" maybe consider a. Changing the signs and b. Having more than one ticket machine per side, in case of people who don't know how to use them holding up the entire queue for 20 minutes.

Not a bad station. Ticket office could do with being open more often, but I don't really mind. Just a shame the train delays, but obviously that's not the station's fault...

Out of all the times I’ve been to Portslade station before which is not far from where I live in Hove I would give this 4 stars and a solid 8 out of 10. It’s only a short walk away to get to the shops and some fast food places. Not bad for a short visit. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
