Balfour Arms

Great pub/Restaurant that is big enough to cater for large groups as well as single people. Good quality food, friendly staff and seating outside front and back of the Balfour Arms, normally great place to meet in folk week as there is wonderful music and dancing in the back, where te beer garden is... 😁 👍 😋

Great place to eat out with the kids. Large outdoor garden with shelter, and a play area. Great food an excellent service. 👍👍👍

The Balfour Arms' food was amazing and I didn't have to wait very long. Very good quality and good portion sizes. Also, the staff were all very friendly and saw to all of our dietary requirements. Very pleased.

Lovely meal great tasty food, friendly exceptional staff and best of all the most dog friendly place I have ever been, Millie (our staffy) definitely had a great time... Would highly recommend it.

Absolutely amazing pub and rooms, we’ve stayed there for three nights in August breakfast 🍳 was delicious, we also had Sunday roast, lovely place and lovely people 👏👍

The welcome from the entire staff was outstanding , and remained so throughout our stay. The food and service first class . Lovely clean and comfortable room . Nice walk along the river into Sidmouth . We would definitely recommend and return ourselves

Lovely friendly people and atmosphere. We stayed for a night (wish it was longer) great nights sleep in a comfy bed. Food is good also. Definitely going to stay there again sometime next year 😊👍

Brilliant dinning experience and the food was amazing. Wish they'd been a better selection of draft beers but the atmosphere of the pub compensated for this somewhat. Recommend

As World travellers in our mid 70's we were surprised and delighted with our excellent bedroom and en suite all done to the highest standard and cleanliness with a lot of little touches which would put MOST hotels in the shade. Nice breakfast. Well done Balfour Arms.
