Consistently high standards of service by friendly helpful staff if all grades. Room spotlessly clean on arrival. During this current time we chose not to have our room serviced during our short stay. I observed in the communial areas of the main hotel cleaners regularly sanitising rails/bannisters and handles. In the bar, terrace and the pool bar, there were polite signs indicating when tables required sanitising or were safe to use, not seen this anywhere else. I also observed easy chairs and sofas being sprayed after use also not seen elsewhere. All staff wore visors much better than masks felt more sociable being able to see them smile. I was nervous about staying away from my own home but felt safe at Victoria. Enjoyed my stay including my daily swim in outside pool. Thank you all.

Wonderful hotel. Situated right on the sea front in Sidmouth. Plenty of parking. Beautiful hotel inside. Very friendly and efficient staff. Lovely outdoor and indoor pools. Food is extremely good. Nice bar area at night. Beautiful sunny lounge area with a stunning view of the sea and Sidmouth promenade. We had a sea view room on the 3rd floor, which, although not huge, was very well appointed with a modern bathroom and an amazing view of the sea. We will certainly be returning and can highly recommend this Hotel.

Lovely Sunday lunch at the Victoria Hotel sidmouth. Amazing service and delicious food. Not sure if non residents are allowed to use the lounge area for after dinner coffee. Was aware of a fracas between a member of staff and a gentleman having lunch. Better check first.

5/ 5

We've just had a wonderful family holiday at the Victoria Hotel to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. It's a really beautifully hotel in a superb location. Yes the bedrooms are a little too warm, but all of the hotel facilities and services are immaculate and the staff could not be more professional. A special thank you to Lesley and to Jack for their patient and highly professional service at breakfast and dinner respectively.
