We had the Vegan set 3 course menu and it was sublime. The delicate tastes, attention to detail were amazing. We gave every dish 10/10. Highly recommended for vegans. It was so refreshing to see that vegans are taken as seriously and respectfully as meat eaters. Thank you.

We went to this restaurant with friends on a day out to York. Recommended by our friends as they have used it numerous times before. It didn't disappoint. For a really tasty lunch it didn't disappoint. We had the rolled and stuff pork. Our friends the Christmas dinner. We will return next time we are in York.

Went with 4 friends for a meal here last night. Chose the restaurant based on previous reviews as first time visiting York. Food and service both excellent. Can honestly say each of us had fabulous food. Very enjoyable and we were not disappointed. Book up and go you won’t regret it.

The food was beautiful and the service was great! Highly recommend the chicken burger it was a huge fillet and tasted amazing! The chips were also brilliant!

Small but varied menu of interesting dishes. Food beautifully cooked. Nice place and good service. Only here three days but might come back as doubt we'd find better in the same style . delicious!

On arrival we were promptly shown to our table of choice, drinks order taken after a couple of minutes, and settled down with the drinks to choose from the menu, which had very good value set menu's of 2 or 3 courses, as well as a specials menu to add choice, staff were polite and efficient. We were there early so were the first in for the evening but the place soon filled up. The food was excellent and the courses were not rushed. All in all it was a lovely evening and will definitely be returning again soon.
