The meat was nice but the veg was lacking and not as much choice compared to usual. We also noted how messy the carvery area was. Disappointed they didn't have any crackling, and it was the first time I've not had gammon as it looked small and fatty.

We all went for the carvery. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Staff all very friendly and willing to help. A good time had by all.

Wow what can I say? Absolutely gorgeous food and superb customer service. Really well maintained and very clean. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly. Staff were more than helpful and very polite. We will definitely be returning. Toby Carvery should be very proud of a hardworking and wonderful team they have.

The manager on duty was the best I've seen in this type of place. No wonder his staff were pleasant and worked hard, he spoke to each and checked they were ok several times. Food was great, as usual.

Visited for a friend's Golden Wedding Anniversary Celebration and it was perfect. The food was fresh and tasty, the room they'd hired was a good size, good access and near the bar. The staff looked after us very well. Grant was amazing, his customer service was first rate, he kept the party going until they needed to close. Grant was entertaining, knowledgeable and remembered everyone's orders. Would recommend for a venue that requires catering for a large variety of ages. There's something for everyone.

We hired the function room for my mums 91st birthday lunch and it was fantastic. The meal itself was delicious and there was an excellent selection of meat and our two vegetarians were delighted with the meal they had. What can I say about the staff! Superb! They were friendly, professional, attentive and caring. Absolutely wonderful people. Thank you for having us and making it the best birthday my mum has had in a long time. Sue Barsby

Rang up to adjust the booking to fit an additional 2 persons to our table of 5. Staff were accommodating in a very busy evening shift. Enjoyed the food and drink. Staff very friendly.

This was by far the best Toby Carvery I've had. The beef was tender, the ambience was great and the staff stellar. Great job Chefs the veg was perfect and fresh. Would definitely recommend and I'm tempted to drive an hour to go to this Toby rather than ones closer.
