Had a knock on the door this afternoon from a guy claiming to be a Zenith salesman from the local showroom (Brighton). Whilst he wasn't in any kind of uniform he was carrying some kind of tablet with various Zenith related brochures on it. As soon as I opened the door he was straight into the usual sales patter. Explained that I wasn't interested and pointed out the large and VERY clear notices on the front door stating that we do not want to buy anything from cold callers and that they should not knock. I work shifts and often sleep during the day so I don't need this sort of nonsense. However he continued with his sales pitch. I told him quite clearly two further times I was not interested and he should leave. He tried to step forward as I went to close the door but must have heard my dog bark and jumped back a step at this point. However he again tried the sales pitch. At this point I explained that I'd politely told him several times that I was not interested and he was to get off my driveway as it was private property. He just stood there smirking. I had to tell him that I wasn't going to be polite any more and that I and my German Shepherd Dog would happily escort him off my driveway. It wasn't until I opened the door to let my dog out that he decided it was best to leave. Absolute disgrace. I can see how these people worm their way in to peoples homes as they use tactics which a lot of people would find intimidating, even threatening. I'm not a fan of double glazing salesmen at the best of times but this guy was appaling. ZENITH. Sort your staff out. This kind of nonsense is never going to generate you new business and certainly does nothing for your all ready pretty poor reputation.

Note: I have not had my windows fitted by Zenith so I can't comment on the quality of the product but I can comment on my meeting with them yesterday. I had a cold caller yesterday about 4pm who asked if I wanted to replace my windows - we agreed I could get a 'quick' quote that evening and I wouldn't be pressured in to anything as the quote lasted two years. That evening a gentleman came 20 minutes later than planned, he could see I was trying to settle my two young children for bed at it was 6.50pm by the time he arrived so I assumed he would be quick. He did not leave until after 9pm! I am so angry, I lost my whole evening. I told him several times I had not had my dinner or bath and had to be up for work at 5am but still he sat there talking about the tech specs of windows for 2.5 hours! I didn't want this information, I simply wanted a 'quick quote' - should I have wanted to proceed with the quote, I would have gone in to further detail. I felt uncomfortable as I think I made it clear I wanted him to leave my home. He even had the cheek to go upstairs to measure up (a second time) when I had told him my children (who had now been put to bed by my equally exhausted partner) were asleep and the floorboards are creaky. I am quite shy and felt awkward being rude but I made it clear in a polite way I wanted him to go! It is utterly disgusting to intrude on someone in there own home for such a long period of time. He even listened to voicemails and replied to text messages while in my home - how rude. Also, he tried to pressure me in to credit/pay monthly scheme (even after I made it clear I was not stupid enough to go down this route). I would NEVER use this company, simply based on the above.

I Had a young gentleman visit me a few weeks back, and the customer service level is above and beyond! always in contact and kept me up to date with all parts of the process that followed. Having researched the company before I proceeded with my order found only good reviews. I would recommend Zenith as I have found to be very professional .

Just had a rather scruffy man call saying he was from your company and he wanted to know if I wanted new Windows. No ID was visible or offered to be shown. If you are employing these people then they should have proper ID and at least look relatively smart
