Tin (John) and Laura The Aussy were unbelievably good hostesses. They went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure we had an unforgettable weekend in Edinburgh. The hostel exceeded our expectations in every regard; cleanliness, comfort, atmosphere all 5 stars. 10 minute walk to the centre. Thanks again!

Decent and cheap accomodations available here if you are planning to stay at Edinburgh for a couple of days ... The dorms are neat and well maintained. Shared toilets are also clean. Proper kitchen where you can cook. Make sure that you carry some paper/stickers for labeling your food though.

Pretty good place to stay. Cheap breakfast. Toilets were pretty dirty but fine. I would recommend a smaller room, hopefully with people hero respect others. Chineese and French seems to have a problem with it for some reason. Silence is nothing you will experience until midnight or later. Bring eye mask and earplugs. Beds are comfy,

Very clean and comfortable, but cramped bedside. Three beds in a bunk bed leaves very little head room (I'm 5'6"and I had to hunch significantly on the lower bunks, and my head touched the ceiling when I sat straight on the top bunk). The lack of elevators was troublesome, but overall it's a good place.

The bedroom and beds were very uncomfortable, there was very little space (I don't recommend this hostel especially if you are travelling with a lot of luggage). Also, the toilettes and the showers were always dirty and there are only 3 showers and two toilettes for like 18 people in the floor. Even though the bed seemed and smelled clean, I woke up with itchy bites everyday, so I am pretty sure there were bedbugs or something.
