Easy convenient no frills bed and breakfast. Walking distance to the old town and on the doorstep of new town for bar and restaurant options. Otherwise in a quiet Georgian period zone. The original features of library, main staircase, and carved wooden fixtures were gorgeous. Breakfast selection was convenient - I was traveling on business so it was nice to be able to grab a yogurt before I left for work. The only downside is the room furniture is very dated and the beds not particularly comfortable but all in all the b&b served it’s purpose with no complaints.

B&B Edinburgh was a little gem. Beautiful surroundings and very helpful staff. The room had a beautiful view of Edinburgh and was well equipped. The library was a bonus with wooden panels and beautiful books. Very relaxing 😌 Would recommend a stay.

Great place, central for everything. Staff friendly and professional. Food amazing. Disappointed with the state of bedroom, very bland and plain, basic. Carpet could do with a replacement it's dirty. Walls dirty. Bathroom floor tiles cracked. Amazing quality reception and dining area.

Lovely hotel with a nice bar and library to lounge around in, attentive and helpful staff, and some really delicious options for breakfast. Only given 4 stars as the room was sub par, the mattresses were very thin and gave no real support, the shower leaked on to the floor and made a nice puddle and one of the decorative pillows had a spot of blood on it. Nothing worth complaining about at the time but a bit disappointing from such a highly rated hotel.
