The Old Inn

My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon, a wonderfully comfortable room with a sofa and ensuite. Everyone was so incredibly friendly, and it was so lovely to be staying above a pub! Food was great, they had a fab selection of gins and local beers on tap (not to mention other tipples!). Beautiful decor, clearly a much-loved establishment, and it was buzzing in the evening! Situated in a wonderfully picturesque village, close to local footpaths, and a short hike to the beach -- absolutely perfect.

Cheerful atmosphere and strict virus hygiene

Fab service, sensible bar menu, great portions. The staff were friendly, and have responded well to C-19 measures. Chef popped out to check we were happy, which is always a welcome touch. Comedy moment.... 5 portions of fish and chips, and when offered sauces, etc... the standard thimble of ketchup was delivered, before a willing delivery of more arrived on request. Why do restaurants do that?

Absolutely fantastic.

Everything was amazing from lovely bedrooms, great choice and quality of breakfast, to outstanding evening meals. No reason to dine anywhere else. Staff and hosts couldn’t do enough for us. Great location. Thoroughly recommend and will be back. 5 star review throughout. Thanks to all at the Old Inn Marlborough.

What an incredible meal! I cannot recommend this place enough! I also want to highlight how nice and friendly the staff are! If you are in the area 100% recommend. Also good with dogs

Had this place recommended to us while we were down on holiday, they were not wrong. Booked in for pie night Wednesday, the food was lovely great value for money would highly recommend and it's all dog friendly.
