Wanted somewhere central that was also good value for money and this ticked both of those boxes. Stayed for 4 nights in October, all the extra precautions were in place without being too obtrusive. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, the included breakfast was restricted but nonetheless perfectly adequate. Staff were polite and helpful. Overall would definitely stay again.

Really good stay. Bed comfortable and good shower. Clean well presented room. COVID protections good and the breakfast well thought out, if there are no tables available you are provided with a bag to take breakfast back to your room. Cereal, yogurts, toast, bacon rolls, croissants, fruit, tea and coffee packaged for takeaway. Very impressed. Will return and recommend.

Top tip - on arrival in Reception you must enter your vehicle registration number if parked in the car park. A friendly welcome from efficient staff. The rooms are modern, well laid out and the bed is very comfortable. We had a super bathroom with a walk-in shower. Due to these in precedented times there is a limited evening menu. Breakfast is best collected and eaten in the room. Why not 5 stars? The rooms have hermetically sealed fenestrations (the windows don't open) and there is a charge for parking.

Lovely hotel and rooms of a good size. Decorated new and nicely. Good bathroom. Breakfast included in a very reasonable price. Staff all very welcoming and helpful. Parking could be costly if you're not careful as you only get 20 minutes free and have to pay each time you enter and leave the carpark.

5/ 5

I chose this hotel for its price and being one of the cheapest options available I wasn't expecting too much, but I was very impressed by the quality of rooms and service provided. The hotel is only a couple years old, so all the rooms feel modern and new, the bed was very comfortable, AC worked well and the bathroom was great. All the staff I spoke to were very friendly and check in was easy and pain-free. Breakfast was included and featured all the typical hotel buffet items. It was of good quality, but lacking some options for special diets, offering a plant milk and more enticing fruit options would help for sure. As for location, it was very convenient, being a short walk from Exeter central station and within walking distance of most of Exeter's sights. Overall, I was very pleased with my time here and would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Exeter.

My stay was not for business or pleasure - my husband was having major surgery at Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital . I was able to walk to the hospital - 30 mins each way , but there is also a direct bus service right to the hospital from the high street which is approx 10 min walk from the hotel . My room was twin bedded so my husband could stay the first night as he had to be at the hospital for 7am the following morning - on site parking was invaluable! The room was comfortable and always kept clean . A wide selection of breakfasts were available and a couple of times I ate in & the food was good . All the staff were very pleasant and although they were unaware of my reason for staying , were always helpful and cheerful .
