What a great place to stay the breakfast and buffet is all you can eat each breakfast is made to order and the atmosphere is fantastic. We stayed there in May and had a great time. The staff are very helpful and always friendly

Great (really great!) staff. Very friendly... from booking (Lisa) right through (Samantha and Caroline at reception/concierge to Christine in the restaurant) everyone was helpful and welcoming. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The food is really good and the bar/restaurant (and the bedroom) provide a haven to return to after a busy day... highly recommended

Nice hotel, loved the design. But if I didn't have a car (they have free parking), I would have stayed closer to the city center.

We visited for a gin tasting afternoon and love it! Shaun was so friendly and knowledgable, it was like having a drink with a friend. The bar & lounge area are relaxing settings and we are already recommending it to family & friends. We hope to be back soon!

Stayed 2 nights, our room was in the lower ground floor, it felt a bit moist and stuffy, with little to no natural light. Also our house was across the street from the main house, and the street is very busy. The bed was great though and everything else was comfy and well decorated.

Floor staff were super nice and food was decent. The room we had was clean and the bed very comfortable, however it was tiny…probably the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in. We may have gotten the runt of the litter, and other rooms may be normal sizes, but my wife and I literally did not have enough space to stand beside each other in the same area. The space between the end of the bed and the TV on the wall was about 10inches and was barely enough to get through without leaning on the bed. When we mentioned this at checkout, the response was that it’s an old building (true) and that they try to be as transparent as possible on the room sizes when booking (not true). Given our expressed disappointment with the room size, they could have comp’d the breakfast to take the sting out of it a little, but our comments didn’t seem to matter that much to them. Won’t be returning any time soon, especially at these rates.
