Great and convenient location. The room was small. The bathroom was crazy small. No elevator to upper floors. If you have any physical limitations, I would strongly advise you avoid. Stairs are steep and very difficult to navigate with a suitcase. The bed was clean and comfortable.

Receptionist John was very nice and efficient, and kind. The amount of very narrow stairs had me nervous about exiting the building in the event of a fire. Squeaky bed, broken tiles in bathroom. The power kept blinking off and wobbly floor. Breakfast not provided, but I was aware of that. Great position in centre of Oxford. Ordinary for the price.

Only hotel on Broad Street. Good location for Bodleian libraries. Tight steep stairways. Tiny shower cubicle door doesn't fully open as sink in the way. No breakfast as made clear on booking forms. Good for one night. Staff helpful and welcoming. No public rooms. Comfortable bed. Good Wi-Fi.

Large clean rooms. Perfect location for walking around Oxford. Friendly helpful staff. The rooms are on the 2nd 3rd and 4th floors with no lift, so be prepared for stairs. I will be staying here again.

The room was huge in comparison to other hotel rooms, including the bathroom. We had everything we needed in the room. The floor is crooked which is more funny than annoying. No breakfast, however, the coffee shops are right around the corner and the bus stops are near. It is a 10mins direct walk from the railstation, easy to find. The staff is at our disposal and flexible. Be aware that its on the first floor so stairs are inevitable. The price is expensive for students, but acceptable within Oxford.

Really pleased I only stayed one night. Sure, the location is great but this doesnt make up for the not so great accomodation. Our room floor was so uneven that it felt like climbing a mountain, the grout in the shower was mouldy, shower curtain marked with some kind of marker, shower head broken and leaking, no hot water in the sink, wifi virtually non-existant - too weak to use. Surely for the price it could be better, and most of the things i've listed are not expensive to fix. Oh and very noisy.

I've stayed here twice and on both occasions the staff woke me up early by having loud, lengthy conversations immediately outside the door. They really need to invest in better soundproofing so that their guests can have a restful nights sleep because you can hear other guests in the rooms upstairs talking. I'd recommend ear plugs!
