It’s a beautiful site. however, the food is rather opulent for its food quality. I order a simple burger that cost me £15,96 and for my surprise it took 45 minutes to be delivered to my table ( Not that I order something fancy, it was only a burger). Bottom line - You better off buying your own burger in a supermarket with the price they charge you and with better quality, also you can make a good barbecue for two if not more. I definitely not coming back to eat there. There are better places with much better quality food and costumer service for that price.

Beautiful hotel set in gorgeous and well maintained gardens, river close by and chairs provided in which to sit and watch the comings and goings. Ample parking. Spacious and tastefully decorated rooms and an extremely comfortable bed.

As a wedding venue I suggest avoid at all costs. We had our wedding here 2 months ago and it was a complete shambles! The staff were very very unorganised and ruined what was suppose to be the happiest day of our lives. When I put in my complaint I am still waiting for them to respond.

It was the most relaxing 2 days I have ever had. Know one could do enough for you! There was an American bar tender who was so helpful, he was ran off his feet but still so attentive. He always knew who was waiting first even if he was clearing tables! We didn’t get his names unfortunately and we didnt see name tags but as the hotel has been recently taken over we guessed they will Come. Very valuable to the hotel.

Had the most enjoyable stay, all of the staff was extra helpful and friendly. The receptionist was so helpful finding us a room for us and our little dog at short notice . The manageress was also very attentive and waiting on hand to help. The hotel room was really big and the bed was absolutely amazing I’m sad to go back to my own! Even the smallest touches like plenty of milks, sugar etc where some hotels scrimp. Just had an absolutely lovely stay, thank you Voco.

An enjoyable family weekend in a well designed building. Nice setting by the river, great for river walks. Can walk in Oxford and catch the 3A bus back to just outside the hotel entrance. Staff are all very professional and helpful. Rooms are well furnished and comfortable. Breakfast is good but could be better especially on a Sunday.

Stayed here for 2 nights for our anniversary. Lovely grounds, comfortable beds and helpful staff. Swimming pool and gym were nice too, and the lady who was in charge of it was great. Only criticism is that the tea in our room wasn't replenished on the second day (but luckily we had breakfast in bed which came with tea. We used Royal Cars to get in and out if town and was only £10 (even at 10pm on a Saturday night).

Be careful if you take your dog. The cleaner let ours out of the room and she could of gone out of the hotel. Other then that it's a nice clean hotel. Was not a great start to our holiday to be honest.
