The Ali inn is a small but nice place to stay with a great location. The staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The only thing I could possibly say was a downside is the lack of a blackout curtain for the bright morning sun. But when you are travelling to Oxford you want to spend your time sightseeing not sitting in the room so it helped me get up in the mornings. Thank you to the staff for helping make my trip much better.

The hotel is small but located right in the centre of Oxford. You could literally crawl out of the Red Lion pub and be in your room in sixty seconds. It is a basic hotel at a very good price, but the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the en-suite was modern and well appointed. No, it's not a five-star hotel, but if you want a comfortable bed for the night in central Oxford that won't break the bank then I highly recommend the Ali Inn. I'd book again. All I would say is that the frontage is narrow, so it was bit hard to find but if you find the Red Lion pub it is opposite that along the narrow road.

The room we had was simple, but that was made up for by the fantastic location and the friendliness/helpfulness of the staff. The streets are a little noisy at night but that is the nature of being in such a central location. We really enjoyed our stay and it was great being within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to visit.

Excellent central location with a superb pub opposite that has fine food and great drinks. A little noisy streets but I’ll take that for the location, friendly staff and clean room. Would recommend highly!

Cheap and cheerful. Bed was clean and comfy, shower was clean and hot. TV and WiFi available and a kettle with tea and coffee supplied. Young gentleman on front desk was polite and helpful. The older guy barely spoke or even acknowledge you! Sadly the theatre next door were moving sets, and we had workers outside our window making a racket all night long. The price and locality are worth 5 stars, however it is a lil rough around the edges. More for the younger generation!
