I stayed in a beautiful large double room. The en-suite was lovely. The decor was beautiful with attention to detail. I loved the portmerion mugs in the rooms! There is car parking and a nearby bus to take you into town. I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights and thought the place was perfectly fine. It's not in the centre of oxford but is only a short bus ride away I think 5 stops and pretty reasonable at £4.30 for a 1 day unlimited use bus ticket. The lady on reception went out of her way to help us and mark on a map places to see to get the most out of our trip. Breakfast was nice with good choices and the 2 ladies serving were very friendly and happy to help as were the cleaning staff. Would use again no doubt but if your fussy and want 5 star you will pay double.

Unimpressive from outside but very nice when you get in. Nice clean and spacious rooms. Staff are very helpful, decent breakfast. No step free access into the building, although there's a lift to move upstairs

I arranged a family gathering at the Galaxie and Andrew was excellent throughout. I really can’t thank and praise him enough for making us feel so welcome and being so accommodating to our needs. If we decide to do something like that again, why would we go anywhere else? The rooms are cosy. There’s an upgrade underway so expect a modern, refurbished room sometime soon, if not already. If you’re planning a get together for any occasion (but bear in mind there currently is no bar or evening meal service) look no further

Lovely hotel. The staff were courteous, knowledge and helpful. I think they're struggling with staff (as is the rest of industry at the moment) as I saw the same chap each morning and night. There were some minor issues (such as replacing in room amenities), but nothing of concern. The breakfast was of good quality offering cereals, croissants, fruit and full English as well as fresh juice and coffee. I would recommend.

The room was very impressive, the bathroom was amazing with his and hers sinks, the only thing I found was the room was very warm and because I was situated at the front of the hotel near the road it was very noisy when I opened the windows. The selection of food at breakfast was good but the hot breakfast was a bit disappointing as it was luke warm.

2 times in a row I have had people staying in the room next to me playing loud music (previous till gone 1am) I ended up getting in my car and driving 3 hours home, that’s how bad it was. I use to stay here loads but won’t anymore, not worth the money and the service has dramatically gone downhill.
