What a lovely place to stay. Set in the score valley with easy links to Ilfracombe and Woolacombe.Lovely walks near by. Really welcoming hoteliers. Breakfast was fresh and local. Our room was lovely an you could hear the gentle brook in the garden very tranquil. Make sure you book direct to save money. Will be recommending to friends and family and would love to come again.

Located off main road out of Ilfracombe. Small and very comfortable old style hotel with lovely gardens. If reasonably fit it is an easy stroll down hill into town and an easy bus ride back. Buses about every 30 mins. Parking in grounds of house for cars. There is a comfortable "honesty" bar. Landlady is delightful and couldn't have been more helpful. We didn't see her husband, Paul but he makes a really good full English breakfast.

My partner and myself recently stayed here from 3-7august and had the most amazing time . We like to walk so the distance from Score Valley to Ilfracombe was fine for us although it's not close to Ilfracombe so bare in mind for those who want to be nearer to the harbour (20 mins walk). The hosts were both lovely and gave us any advice to eat , visit in the local areas . The room was lovely with nice views of the garden /front of the property. Breakfast was lovely and a good choice . Really enjoyed our stay . Finally Score Valley is set in beautiful grounds and a lovely place to sit out and relax.

Perfect customer service, a beautiful setting and a wonderful accommodating host. Stayed for one night and absolutely loved it. We arrived very late as we booked last minute but nothing was too much trouble! Comfortable bed, pretty room and a fab choice at breakfast.

Thank you to Donna and Paul for a lovely few days stay. This was our second time visiting Score Valley and we enjoyed it as much as the first visit. Donna is a fantastic host with a great sense of humour and full of great advice and tips of local places to visit. Paul makes an absolute delicious full English breakfast which is a great start to the day. The rooms were very clean and spacious, bed linen and towels were clean and fresh. There is a small fridge in the room and kettle for a cup of tea in the morning. The grounds are well kept and very peaceful. It was great that we could bring our little dog with us and they accommodate for the dogs needs too which was a great little touch. We have no hesitation in recommending Score Valley and we look forward to visiting again in the future. Thank you Donna and Paul.
