Great place to go bouldering! The staff are friendly and helpful. It is predominantly a bouldering centre, there is some sports climbing facilities, but geographically, there is better locally.

Huge selection of walls and problems for varying levels of climbers. Friendly staff. Nice little cafe and a big old soft play for children. They do climbing lessons for children as young as two years. Thinking about it though I dont want my two year old getting any more confident at climbing than she already is.

My daughter has just had her birthday party here. Booking was easy - I did it online and received a confirmation email instantly. I phoned up to confirm some details and the person that I spoke to was friendly and helpful, as were all of the staff on the day. There was free parking for customers opposite the venue. Sign in was easy. The venue was clean and had plenty of seated areas for adults to sit down whilst the children were climbing. Children had ample time in the different areas and because they moved to different rooms, never got bored. Even the children that were nervous about heights had a great time. Their instructor was really good with them. The food was ready as soon as they had finished climbing and there was plenty - 3 large pizzas between 8 children (ages 9 - 12) and crisps and large chocolate brownie each. I would recommend Rock Over Climbing to anyone. All the children have gone home very happy and wanting to climb more in the future. As a parent of 2, this is the least stressful party I have arranged or attended. Good value for money.

Great place to go bouldering. The venue is constantly changing routes every couple weeks to keep things interesting. Avoid going on Sunday as that seems to be the busiest day where you can't climb. But any other day has been great. Great coffee and food. Always leave with sore arms and having bested myself from previous climbs

Ive been going to rock over for several years since I’ve first started bouldering. The place isn’t the coolest looking I just admit (compared to the depot or substation) but it has a charm. A close family friend vibe that other climbing centre doesn’t have. The climbs are great and changes enough to keep it exciting. Has variety of rooms and options now it has expanded. This is cheapest compared to other nearby climbing centres so not sure why some people are saying it’s “expensive”! There is no water fountain but just ask the reception. They always filled my bottle up no problem. I fell off a wall in May this year and fractured my leg. The staff came to me and offered so much support and help. Called me several weeks later to check up on how I’m doing. When I popped over recently with my partner just to show my face, the guy who was there when I fell remembered me and came to ask how it’s all going. Rock over is full of genuine and friendly people. I wouldn’t keep coming up if it wasn’t!

Absolutely brilliant. Lots of different walls with various degrees of difficulty and the staff were excellent. On top of this it has free parking and the cafe prices were very reasonable. Great place to keep two hyperactive children entertained. Can't wait to go back. If anyone connected to Rock Over Climbing sees this I want to say thank you again.
