This inn presents beautifully. The service was very good, but I am afraid the rib-eye steak I had was almost inedible. The chips were superb and my wife's venison was very good. Great countryside pub serving large portions of typical pub food. Bread was served warm and was also fantastic. Service was swift and attentive. They have sitting both inside and outside. Definitely recommend a stop by.

Really nice spot. Lovely people, excellent atmosphere. Bar was too busy / many people for the Covid though. I'd go back and just be a bit more careful yourself

My wife and I stayed for three night. This is a gem of the British countryside. Its a quaint thatched pub with very good food and very helpful polite staff. The rooms were lovely and to high standard. Great value for money. We will be back for sure.

Family of 4 came for lunch, we were absolutely delighted by the service, the local produce use and how delicious everything was. Beautiful presentation to match. Definitely visit!

Clearly one of the best little pubs Dartmoor has to offer, if not the whole of Devon. Excellent atmosphere, excellent food, well made and super delicious. 100% will be coming again and again.

We stopped for lunch during our days walk. This is a lovely pub in a pretty village. Tasty food, good size portions and friendly staff. Thank you. Would recommend.

We stayed two nights Friday and Saturday bed and breakfast in this beautiful country pub. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower. We had dinner on both evenings. The quality of the evening meal was very good for a pub and offered different options on both evenings. We enjoyed the freshly cooked breakfast in the morning and took advantage of the range on offer. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. We will now go away and plan our next visit.

Great atmosphere, we didn't get to eat here, but will be back to try the food it all looked and smelt delicious.
