The Riverside

We went for lunch to meet a friend. Not sure about the description on here of "Asian fusion" as it seems to be more about big cooked sandwiches and burgers. Everyone is welcomed by the friendly staff. Food was good.

Amazing service and a fantastic Sunday lunch. Our party was 6 adults and 8 children. Menu catered for all. Cannot express how good the food was. Try halloumi fries followed by a mixed roast. The gravy was amazing.

Stopped for coffee and cake. The guy serving was very attentive. Dog friendly. We didn't have a breakfast but they did look very good. The coffee was nice but there was quite a wait for them.

Couldn't be happier with the food and service. Everything was flavoursome and the portion sizes were great. Staff were all welcoming and friendly. Will recommend to everyone in the area. Well done The Riverside, you guys nailed it.

Service, quality of food, range and great value... all essentials of the restaurant business are abundant here... but it is not just a restaurant, it is a great place to chillax with a coffee in the daytime, or a quiet evening drink away from the pub crowd.

We booked a table for 4 last minute for Sunday Lunch. On arrival they seemed a little confused and I think they hadn't received the online confirmation of the booking. That being said, and the fact it was busy they seated us without any fuss. We all ordered the Roast and it has to have been one of the best we had ever eaten, and no words can describe how good the gravy was. Highly recommended for Sunday Lunch.

Great service even with Covid measures. All the service staff were friendly even though it was busy and there was a very short wait time between ordering and getting food

Have eaten at the Riverside many times. Dave’s cooking is above and beyond, we have never had a less than perfect meal be it breakfast lunch or dinner. Always get a warm welcome and friendly service. Fantastic Team 👍
