I attended the orthopaedic and trauma clinic on time, 1.30pm. I was asked to confirm my name, address, surgery, age, home phone and mobile. Then I was told that there was a 2 hour delay as the consultant was delayed in the operating theatre. The consultant that I was expecting to see wasn't even on duty. That person had undertaken the first type of operation that she had done and wanted to see me for follow up. So I had been let down twice. No one said that the person I was expecting to see wasn't there and no one, despite having my mobile mobile, told me there was a 2 hour delay. What's the point of asking for a patient's phone numbers and then ignoring them if there's a problem?? Haywards Heath: you deserve zero out of 10 on this occasion.

Cannot thank the staff at PRH enough for their excellent care and attention during both my initial admission and emergency re-admission to Horsted Keynes ward.

My wife Jeannie was in the intensive care unit for four months and the staff were wonderful. Quite remarkably so.

Went to the walk-in X-ray clinic - very calm atmosphere, lovely, friendly staff and, although I expected to have to wait about an hour, I was seen in 30 minutes. Service was extremely efficient. Long live the NHS.

Had a good go at cutting my arm off with a chainsaw today. Thank you to every single member of staff who dealt with me. I was only there for a few hours but appreciate everything you did for me, it was a first class, excellent, faultless, friendly, impeccable and professional service.

My wife delivered my two sons at the princess royal hospital , the staff were absolutely fantastic thank you very much to all the staff at the princess royal

The nursing staff are amazing people. Helped my daughter so very much. Despite their incredible workload, they still smile & are still providing great care. Thank you as always xx

Pre-op in Hickstead Unit- couldn’t find any info online.Its in the main building opposite the carpark- go past the cafe & it’s on your right- not far to walk.Hope that’s helpful.

X-ray department was very efficient. Nice and quick process. Clean and tidy.

It breaks my heart to hear that my dear friend had such incomprehensibly neglectful care during the birth of her son at Haywards Heath Princess Royal. She was induced, left in a room unable to have her husband with her and no midwives around to support her. When on the infrequent occasion a nurse distantly appeared, she begged for an epidural each time and was promised this, but it never came. Hours and hours alone in agony. A nurse eventually came in to move her and told her she needed to 'calm down'. Her husband was only allowed in for the last 90 minutes of the birth. This was all during the Euro Football where fans were allowed to pack into a stadium and people were allowed to cram into nightclubs. If higher government rules prevented her from having her husband as support, the care should replace that to monitor her and keep her safe. My friend was neglected and then told to 'calm down'. Unacceptable care and treatment of someone vulnerable, alone and in pain. This should never be allowed to happen to anyone again!
