Clean, well organised hotel with good COVID-19 controls in place. Food tasty, hot and all cooked to order. Staff all cheery and happy to please. Only criticism would be to replace toilet seats with a better quality

We only stayed one night but really enjoyed it. The room was spacious, clean and quiet and had a very comfortable bed, with plenty of space for our dog to sleep on her bed on the floor. We had a delicious roast on our first day and joked with the staff that our dog would love any left-over beef... and a few minutes later they brought out a little pack of roast beef! Everyone was incredibly nice and considerate. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. We really enjoyed our stay and it will be top of our list for coming back to the area! There is also a convenient electric vehicle rapid charger just 10 minutes walk (3 mins drive) away too. Perfect!

Decent, clean and organized hotel in green surroundings. Lovely staff. The safe menu choices offer something for everyone. Steak, fish and chips, ham egg and chips, fish pie and curry. The food is beautifully cooked and presented. The fat crunchy chips are fabulous! The brownie dessert was yummy. Room, bed and shower were great. Appreciated the tea and coffee in the room. The only negative was vile coffee at breakfast. A mistake I think as people know what good and bad coffee is, and are looking forward to a decent cup at breakfast. I would prefer to pay extra for decent coffee.

We had a lovely Sunday lunch, as a birthday treat for myself. But was a little disappointed on the cheese board, for afters. And a few marks on the cutlery. Which let the whole thing down. Just needs to step the mark up..
