We arrived to no 18 to find we were met with an open door and an excellent host. This is a situation where a 4 1/2 rating would have been fair as the downside was the shower which was a bit feeble. However, the breakfast and the service made up for this and our host could not do enough for us. The location is fab as you can walk into Edinburgh in 10 to 15 mins.(this is uphill) . Be aware that car parking is separate to the house and is charged for during the week.

Guest house run by Anna, a lovely lady and very attentive. Everything is taken care of, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious (fresh fruit, salmon, delicious jam, fresh croissants, drinks ... everything in abundance and of very good quality). The house is next to the botanical garden, and there are two bus lines that stop very close to the center of the city. 100% recommendable .
