Large, comfortable, welcoming cafe. Sofas, armchairs, tables and chairs, fairy lights everywhere, quirky in decoration. My absolute favourite cafe in the Northern Quarter. Food/snack menu is of wide variety and nicely priced, you really feel like you get your money's worth. About £1.70 for a black coffee, £4.50 for a toasted sandwich. I'm loath to mention it, because it might mean that I miss out when I next go, but the carrot cake (£2.50 a slice) is incredible - just incredible.

Really cute cafe. Loads of sofas and armchairs you can chill out on. There are loads of books, art supplies and board games you can use. Drink menu is huge, with different types of coffees and a gigantic selection of teas. Cakes and baked goods are also available - including vegan options! They have vegan milks which you can choose to have in your drinks. They take card payments.

Lovely place, friendly staff and clientele. Best of all are the affordable prices £1,20 for a cup of tea rather than the standard £2.50 everywhere else. A great place to sit and relax.

Perfect retreat from the busy streets for an introvert like myself. This place has lots of space and comfortable seats, a relaxed atmosphere and lots of board games. The staff are down to earth, and the prices are down to earth too (unlike a lot of Manchester!).
