All the staff were very friendly particularly the gentleman ( glasses & very short dark hair) on reception who went above and beyond with information on the hotel and local tourist advice. This was the perfect base to visit the waterfront, galleries and the Christmas Steps which were all in walking distance. Our room was very clean and comfortable only criticism was the heating wasn’t great. We had breakfast & dinner in the hotel again the staff couldn’t do enough there was plenty of choice at breakfast & dinner, food portions were large and well cooked with excellent presentation. Breakfast offered full range of cereals, fruit, full English, all were continuously topped up if food got low. Good hygiene with tables sanitized after each guest. Rooms were kept clean with fresh towels etc everyday, our bed was large & very comfortable and our room was quiet . We visited this hotel with friends who were equally impressed we would definitely use this hotel again and have no hesitation in recommending it.

Perfect hotel for visiting Bristol centre. Not quite in the heart of the city but very close and an easy walk. Added bonus of a good sized free car park. Great breakfast - first proper buffet breakfast I've seen since the beginning of Covid. Good sized comfortable room. This would be my recommended hotel for a Bristol visit.

Nicely appointed, large room, very stylish, however the heating system wasn't working and the room was bitterly cold. Reception kindly provided us with two small oil radiators which hardly had any effect. All in all our stay was marred by this, but the hotel and staff were very nice in general.
