5/ 5

Stopped here for a night before an early flight. The venue is ideally located, ten min drive from the airport with easy parking. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Becky and given our room key. The pub is very clean, great atmosphere with a coal fire. We had dinner which was good, taking advantage of a current 30% promotion. The room is standard size, bathroom en-suite, no air conditioning so just opened a small window. No traffic noise, but I expect in the summer time the beer garden could be noisy. Unfortunately the mattress is well past his sell by date, needs changing asap. Breakfast was served 0800 on time, and was very enjoyable. Overall a great stay with hard working staff, with Becky being the star of the show! Thanks, Becky!

5/ 5

I arrived early for check in and was given a room straight away which was great as I was very tired from a 6 hour drive. The landlady especially was lovely, but all the staff were great and very attentive too. Nothing was too much trouble. The room I was staying in had everything I needed, a comfy bed, tea & coffee making facilities and a nice shower. I would definitely stay there again if I am in the area. Well done to all the staff at The Fox & Goose. 😊

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Lovely staff, Rachel, Richard and Becki in particular who have been friendly and accommodating throughout all my stays. Food delicious, rooms comfy and clean and a convenient quiet location but not too far away from the centre.
